The models of the KERN ORF-R series are maintenance-free, universal digital portable refractometers designed for reliable and efficient analytical use. They are characterized by a robust construction combined with exceptional ease of use, making them well suited for routine daily operations where speed and practicality are essential.

Thanks to their ergonomic and user-friendly design, these refractometers allow quick measurements without complex setup procedures. The devices are protected against dust and splash water in accordance with international protection standards, and can be safely rinsed under running water after use, ensuring durability even in demanding working environments.

The large, high-contrast TFT color display, with integrated temperature indication, enables clear and accurate reading of measurement results. Optimized internal software allows measurement values to be displayed in multiple scales, increasing flexibility across different analytical applications.

An integrated automatic temperature compensation (ATC) function ensures precise results without the need for manual temperature correction, further simplifying operation. Each refractometer is factory-calibrated, allowing immediate use and ensuring accurate and reproducible measurements from the first operation.

This specific model features an extended measuring range for the refractive index nD, making it particularly suitable as a universal measuring instrument for applications requiring wide measurement ranges.
